For Teachers

Wajda Film Centre supports teachers in fostering students’ creativity and incorporating elements of film education into classroom lessons. We offer various programs that provide tools and inspiration for working with young people.

We invite teachers to participate in our programs to collaboratively shape the future of education, grounded in the arts and film culture. Detailed information on open recruitments and upcoming events can always be found in our Event Calendar and News sections.

Our online courses, developed in collaboration with the Warsaw Centre for Educational and Social Innovation and Training, are designed for teachers of various subjects. During these sessions, we explore how to use short films in education to enhance students’ social and emotional skills while deepening their knowledge of film art.

We regularly host webinars that address current topics in film education. These sessions are an excellent opportunity to learn new teaching methods, exchange experiences, and ask questions to experts in the field.

During the summer workshops organized as part of the Summer Film Academy Festival in Zwierzyniec, teachers have the chance to develop their skills in a creative atmosphere. These workshops combine practical activities with theoretical learning, enabling participants to generate fresh ideas for their classroom activities. This initiative is part of the FilmED project, funded by the EU.

In October 2024, we launched a pilot edition of the Film Education Workshop, a professional development course in film education tailored for teachers, educators, and trainers. This initiative is also part of the FilmED project, funded by the EU.
