For Families
We invite children with parents to the family workshops Trampolina do kina! Join us on Saturdays at 12:00 at our headquarters, Studio U20, located at 20 Aleje Ujazdowskie in Warsaw. You can find the detailed program and ticket links in the Events Calendar.
About workshops
During our workshops, Film Warm-Up and Animation Explorers, we create live-action and animated films – discovering the secrets of filmmaking and learning how to tell stories together through images, sound, and movement.
In the Art in the Frame series, we dive into film-related artistic projects – designing posters, composing frames, and preparing portraits of our characters.
With Cinemini Europe, we offer the youngest children, parents, and guardians a chance to explore the diverse world of moving images in an engaging and fun way. We believe that for young children, it’s not about understanding the film but rather experiencing it.
What Do We Focus On?
During the workshops, we emphasize:
- Strengthening family bonds: Working on a film project together fosters relationships and develops communication skills.
- Encouraging creativity: We stimulate imagination and inspire experimentation with forms and content.
- Understanding the filmmaking process: From idea to execution – we guide participants through scriptwriting, directing, and editing.
- Having fun: We ensure that every participant feels comfortable and enjoys exploring the world of film.
Who Are These Workshops For?
Family workshops are designed for children aged 6 and above. The age groups may vary depending on the session – you can always find details in the Events Calendar.
Children participate in the workshops with parents, guardians, or older siblings. No prior filmmaking experience is required – all you need is enthusiasm, openness to new experiences, and a willingness to create together.
Where Do the Workshops Take Place?
The workshops are held in the inspiring spaces of the Andrzej Wajda Centre for Film Culture, located in the heart of Warsaw. Our studios are fully equipped with the tools needed for all activities, and the atmosphere fosters creativity and enjoyment.
