The Program Council of the Wajda Film Centre held its Monday meeting in the beautiful interiors of the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Krystyna Zachwatowicz for hosting us. Warm regards also go to other Council members: Ms. Agnieszka Holland and Professor Rafał Syska for their time, opinions, and guidance, as well as to Professor Tadeusz Lubelski and Mr. Robert Więckiewicz for their support online and over the phone.
Joanna Rożen, Director of the Wajda Film Centre, commented:
“This meeting was an invaluable experience for both me and the CKF Team, allowing us to share what we do daily. We are delighted that our work was met with approval and warmth from the Council. It gives us tremendous motivation for future endeavors, especially as we prepare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Patron, Andrzej Wajda. The discussions also addressed the role of film culture in shaping social sensitivity and the challenges facing young creators. We all agreed that, in times of uncertainty, it is particularly crucial to create spaces for open exchange of ideas and creative expression.”
